What a great surprise to receive this today! I've only been working on adapting pilots for my two book series for the last year, so any sign of progress is wonderful. Stage 32 has made it all possible. From my first mentor who said, "Book One is Season One" to the other mentors and executives, to the contest feedback, to everything going on in the Writer's Room, to getting to know some of my fellow writers, to Jason's positive encouragement.
I've been enjoying the process of writing and polishing the pilots, which is so different and fresh (for me) from writing books, and I'm excited about the people in the business who now want to see both "look books." (Sigh, that's another whole work in progress, which isn't nearly as fun.)
