I announced a while back that a project of mine was optioned. Now we have brought in a high-profile producer who loves our screenplay and has, in turn, gotten the screenplay in front of an amazing director! I know this is a long way from actually getting a feature made, but it's another step in the right direction. So my advice is: keep plugging away, ignore the naysayers, keep writing and re-writing, and keep knocking on doors!
