Greetings everyone from Gibraltar (I'm not from here, I'm working as a guest comedian onboard the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship and travelling back to the UK).
I'm a professional comedian, actor and writer. I've been performing as a stand-up for over 20 years now. I"m also an actor, I've appeared in commercials, films, short films and TV shows over the years. I only just got back into acting recently, doing online courses and sharpening my skills - I've landed an amazing agent and am now about to read for the lead in a properly funded horror feature film, shooting in October 2022.
I'm also a writer. I've written all my own comedy material and shows over these past 20 years and never considered "writing" until lockdown where I wrote a novella and started dabbling in screenwriting. I've written a short film, a TV pilot based on the short film, another TV pilot and a 1 page short, short film. My short film (available on here) has been selected and nominated at numerous festivals and has been named winner of Best Short Script at 2 festivals. My TV pilot (available on here) was also a semifinalist at the 26th Annual Fade In Awards First 10 Pages Competition.
I'm constantly writing...the 1 page short is on it's way to becoming a feature and is now sitting at 22 pages.
I've started a few others, one a "based on actual events" screenplay which I'm excited about.
Looking forward to connecting with other passionate story tellers and movie makers. The world is in a dark place and society needs us to transport them away from the craziness, even if only for a little while.
