About Happiness
I am a creative who uses music and film to create content. My recent project titled Entangled is in the Durban Film Mart Content shop catalogue (2021) and it has received a Trace Studios Award (Distribution). I am passionate about women's stories exploring life, love, rights (as a storyteller , not an activist) and fantasies.
I would like to produce more stories. I am open to collaborations and co-productions with creatives from all over the world. I am based in South Africa. Our film funders: the KZN Film Commission and the National Film and Video Foundation have funding for co-productions, and treaties with other countries to help support us. While the process takes time, I am always willing to invest my time in my craft so if I believe in the story presented to me, I will definitely embark on a journey to find finance.
Unique traits: I speak six official South African languages. I speak English fluently. I have a good sense of humor. Born in South Africa, but my father was from Malawi.
