Animation : Finally Released! by Terrence Sellers

Finally Released!

I've posted a few times in the past year about how I was writing an animated series. After many delays in production, the first episode is finally available. You can watch it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Husuc8qHwsU&t=188s

Karen "Kay" Ross

WHA?!?! That's fantastic news! Congratulations, Terrence Sellers! Is the intention for the series to be entirely on YouTube? Or are you looking for collaborators/distributors?

Terrence Sellers

Karen "Kay" Ross Thank you. So the company, which is not a traditional production company, wants to distribute the episodes on YT. At least for now. If a distributor contacted them, I'm sure they be amenable to a streamer. But what they do plan on doing is creating a feature length film of the first story arc similar to how Demon Slayer did their S2 arc as a feature film first. But they will do the movie after the episodes have been released rather than before. For this, they are hoping to find a distributor to get it released on a streamer but they lack the experience and connections to actually do something like that so it's a bit up in the air at the moment. In either case, episodes 2 and 3 will be released this year and the movie is planned to release by December this year but delays are inevitable so I'm realistically thinking it will release in Q1 2023.

Bob Harper

Congrats. Always a great feeling to get your work out to the world.

Christian Nommay

Congratulations! This looks great!

Evelyn Von Warnitz

Congratulation! We are in production with an animated fantasy series as well.

Lasse Wennerstrand

Cool, very nice and detailed art. Are you planning on doing more advanced animation later on if it gets picked up? Or will you continue the motion graphics style?

David Kleve

Great!

Terrence Sellers

Lasse Wennerstrand There's no plan for it to get picked up as it's a marketing project for a corporation, but if the popularity of the series increases enough we will get more budget for higher quality animation. I would like to see a transition to the 3D style of Netflix animated series like Ultraman. Not my favorite animation style but for this series' setting and themes I think it would work well.
