I wanted to thank the readers and organizers of the Stage 32 Feature Comedy Screenwriting Contest.

Many dissuaded me from writing political satire in our current political climate. To reach the quarter finals concurrent with the success of “Don’t Look Up” on Netflix is proof social commentary is still relevant.

I worked for half a year, during a pandemic, on this passion project in complete isolation. The positive reinforcement of connecting with an audience of readers is powerfully encouraging! Know that your work does make a difference, personally and professionally.
