For me it would be Kingdom of Heaven. Perhaps as a counselor to young Balian of Ibelin. Or as a Templar Knight who saves the life of Sibylla, the sister of the King of Jerusalem.

Jason - Oh yeah, " The Apartment" for sure, NY in the 60's, great time. I feel like Italy would be a choice on everyone's list, no matter the period in time.
