Excellent! I wonder if the shrink is the only ?stable? alter ego, always 'on' ? Personally I'm working on a concept like "Angelheart". Only much more complicated to shoot.

basically, the shrink is a new emerged personality which is a sort of help-system to Danny...it's the latest personality forming inside Danny and it could become stablest, so to say, but it's all Danny....these kind of mysteries of human mind are very interesting to read,write or make movies about....Angelheart is more of a sell-your-soul to devil movie, if i remember right...so I guess yours is taking main character detective from it but mixing it up with multiple or dissociative identity disorder..?

I'm not sure how many split personalities I want the main character to have, but what is sure that the detective is searching for a psychopath, "Locking" this person up is locking him up for ever in finally getting "whole", only one person. Problem is the bad alter ego has killed,.Wwho is responsable now? Who has to go to Jail? Thinking of making one of the alterego's a judge. Maybe the only one who knows the other ego's exist. I want all of the alter ego's to have their lives without the audience knowing it's about one and the same person. What our lead slowly finds out, we find out...
so the cop is also the killer kind of movie...similar, but not the same would be movie ''Identity'' with John Kusack from 2003...if you already have not watched it, take a look at it, maybe some ideas will come to mind...if you have synopsis willing to share, would like to take a look and discuss

Tnc, Jhona! I would make a lot more of these and other kind of movies if we lived in ideal world where funding is easier for filmmaking ;)
