Breakdown of post workflow in covid times

Here's a fun read: https://blog.frame.io/2022/02/28/made-in-frame-foo-fighters-studio-666/

And while its focus is the use of Frame.io, it's a neat insight as to how Dave Grohl was able to make a movie with people all over the globe. The fact that we can do our jobs from our homes is such an eye-opener, and a huge door opener for many of us that wouldn't normally get the chance because we don't live in the right areas.

What do you think? Are you finding more work because of the pandemic? do you see any ways you can make your workflow easier/more efficient by learning some of these processes?

Thanks for sharing this! I didn’t understand how they were able to edit in 4K though instead of using proxies as one commonly does. How did they avoid the lag? And how exactly did they avoid the relinking problem?

Thanks for sharing! Working remotely was a bit slow at first, because no one was really out there filming, but at this stage, I feel the gears slowly turning again in this industry. There are a gazillion different sounds on all these plugins we use, so the short slow down gave me time to try out a lot of plugins, presets, and choose what I feel is the best go-to plugins, ect. This actually improved my workflow.
