We all spend a lot of time on improving our craft. There are certainly plenty of great services from Stage 32 (script services, webinars, etc.) to help us do so. What has become more clear to me over the past six months is that understanding the industry is just as key as writing skills. It doesn't matter if you have written a brilliant script if you can't get anyone to read it. The industry has changed dramatically over the past decade and understanding how to network into this relationship-driven industry is more important that ever. In the past few months, we have great discussions in the Writer's Room with screenwriters, producers, directors, agents, etc. You simply can't get these kinds of insights into the market place anywhere else. We have weekly Zoom workshops (Wednesdays at 4:00 PM Pacific). Come join us -- I'll be there.

I second that, Chris Lynch! Totally worth the price of admission!
