Like many of you, I was struggling to get any of my screenplays optioned or produced. I was discouraged, but a friend of mine suggested I just write a short and shoot it. So I did. It was awesome to be able to see my vision come to life and finally get a project shot, even a small one. So for those feeling discouraged, keep plugging away and working at it. Do something to keep the creative juices flowing so you will be ready when the bigger doors open. Go get 'em.
