I am extremely thrilled and elated to share that my short film "Mela (Carnival)" has been reached to the 49th Student Academy Awards! It is one of 54 films (Total in all categories from Experimental, Animation, Documentary and Narrative) to advance this year. In a year in which Academy received a record 1,796 films. Also it is the only Indian film to be selected into this year's event among all the categories!
