Welcome to the community, Chris Smith!

You are quite helpful. With your experience, you have offered us the ability to see a much clearer picture of what the roll of Line Producer entails. I admit there is so much to learn everyday because every day on a film set is so different. That is why a film set has become my favorite place on earth.

I am lucky to be on a path that is moving along swiftly. While I have ambitions to Line Produce one day (I've always been good with time and money) I am currently being hired as a Script Supervisor on non-union features. It's a roll I did not expect to love so much but it places me right in the ring with all the parts moving full speed around me and my roll is to simply observe and notate it all.

Like every aspect of filmmaking, it's all about organization. And so this is simply a formal introduction. I will have more questions as my horror feature moves along and this "Proof of Concept" short gets made (that was me that posed the question) so I'd like to keep you as a contact.
