About Alexandro

In 2017, with a strong 15-year background as a producer of special projects for the internationally renown Mark Morris Dance Group, Pacheco made the decision to return to school in pursuit of a career in the film industry. In 16 months, he was a Phi Theta Kappa Honors graduate of Borough of Manhattan Community College. In 2018, he was also accepted into the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts. An active member of the Tisch community, he produced and/or directed 10 productions in just two years, including his award-winning documentary, The Unicorn, which screened in Hamburg, Germany and is the basis for a feature documentary he plans to direct. Awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship in 2019, he spent a semester studying 35mm filmmaking at FAMU, Europe’s most elite film school in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2020, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He continues to write extensively, building pilots and feature-length scripts out of the stories he first envisioned thirty years ago. He is an aspiring television Line Producer currently focused on producing his first feature and working full time as a Script Supervisor.

Unique traits: I have life experience on my side, having succeeded in the non profit performing arts sector (I created PR "events" called Special Projects for choreographer Mark Morris and his Dance Group.) Therefore, I also have a keen eye for design and aesthetic, for stage lighting and theatre sound. Over the years, I have become an expert at scheduling and budgeting, which is why I came to this industry with a desire to Line Produce.
