Hi Tony Pham, formatting is the same. I think the biggest thing is to keep your audience in mind and expectations they may have for the medium. You're more free to write wild takes and other fantastical sequences with less concern of budget impact. If you're getting wild with the action, be sure to be clear on describing that action. Hope this helps. Others may have additional thoughts.
Thank you so much Mark Violi and if you don't mind, I have one last question. What's your approach to networking with other people who are interested in animation, either in writing or production?
Tony. I have never written an animation screenplay but I have worked on a couple of them. I agree with Mark but might add that they tend to have more descriptions for obvious reasons.
my name is Hyrone Lilly. I wrote an animation not too long ago, just to see if I could, and if people would like it. the best idea I can give you is to try it. Nobody can show you what you want to do with it, but you. Maybe you will surprise yourself, I know that I did. It was an experience that I would love to do again. Hope that this helps you out.
Thank you again Mark Violi I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Also, a thank you to Dan GuardinoWilliam Schumpert @Hyrone Lilly for giving your input too.
Tony. I wrote a screenplay called ‘Outside Time’. I added more descript than I normally would because I thought it could make a good animation movie. It is in my logline if you want to kill some time by reading one of my screenplays.
Dan Guardino yeah, I'll take some time to read through it, I'm not much of a writer but I do like seeing how it's put together. To me, I just think it's pretty cool.
My animation script needs polishing, and would definitely benefit from the exchanges you will have with each other. Do you have a blog that I could follow?

Mark Violi Is there a big difference between writing for animation versus writing for traditional filming?

I have a script. It’s part animation/ live action. Been sharing it for a while. If you’re interested send me a message and I’ll talk about it.
