My business studies made me start on the management side (production & exhibition), but it wasn't creative enough to my taste, especially in France where directors have the final cut. So I decided to develop my own projects while doing side jobs that helped see the industry from all angles: subtitle editor, video technician, even film extra for this casting director who was a former actor but would rather hire non-actors...

My first motivation to try AI for filmmaking was that I couldn't afford to pay grading and editing assistants. Now I'm becoming more political about data science, and considering how it could be used as a grassroots tool.
