Hi, folks!
This music video is a good sampler of my quadruple threat status :)

Here's hoping you are all getting by alright, during this prolonged challenging time. I'm big on embracing the silver linings, like self tape auditions! Had a speaking role on a new tv show a little while back, and I'm submitting for projects through the online casting sites. With more free time than ever, it's good to put more energy into manifesting our arts career evolution :)
I'd be delighted to chat with anyone about their casting needs, as I'm always looking for quality acting roles! As of right now, I'm only working on sets where people within 20 feet of me have tested negative for Covid. Very happy to get tested, wear masks, etc.!
I also usually stay busy performing and teaching/choreographing dance (Ballroom, Social dances, Tap), fronting my Swing band (lead singer), playing djembe with fire dancers and Belly dancers, recording original Folk rock tunes, and running sound for live events.
All my best to you all!
Peace, ~Alec :)

I agree with Maurice, Alec, this is a really great song. We are going to be featuring a Stage 32 member's film on the blog coming up soon that has a dance component to it...be sure to stay on the lookout!

Thank you so much, Amanda! Wow, you have quite the resume! Love seeing dance in film...and delighted that musicals have made somewhat of a comeback. I just wish directors/producers would bring in real Ballroom instructors/choreographers like me, instead of having a general choreographer that has the actors faking the steps, when it comes to partner dancing. Drives me nuts, and it happens in films and live theatre, often!
Anyways, thank you for your kind words. I'm always looking for acting/dancing/singing/choreographer work, and creating this video was a fun way to mix it up :)
All the best to you!

I couldn't agree with you more about the way ballroom dancing is handled in film Alec. Very few take it seriously and as a competition ballroom dancer myself I find it incredibly frustrating to watch. I think there is a huge opportunity to show ballroom, i.e waltz, tango, VW, foxtrot and quickstep. at the highest level. Love your music too. Thank you for sharing.

Ingrid Wren Right on! Thanks for the solidarity ;) The idea of "getting it right" when it comes to dance steps/styles is massively underappreciated in Hollywood, and in many theatrical productions too. But hey, nice to meet a fellow Ballroom dancer! Your "Star Dancer" project sounds fascinating, all the best with it!!!
