The email I received said "come out of the shadows". Haha... that is what prompted me to write here today. I'm an actor, director and a costumer. I just worked as the costume set supervisor on the CBC (Canada) series, Diggstown. It was a rock n' roll shoot but we got things done! My own short film, The Rolling Pin, that I wrote and directed is floating around in Japan right now. I may be heading there for their last weekend of the festival run...fingers are crossed! I've started writing a feature script... but you all know how long that takes! I'm pretty passionate about the subject, though, so hopefully that will keep me motivated. I'd love some writing buddies if you're out there. As we know, accountability helps with deadlines. Anyhooooo..... that's me "out of the shadows". Hope the creative juices are flowing for everyone!

Maurice Vaughan I think there's a one month free promo on the Writers' Room. If not, a quick request to Jason Mirch writerhelp@stage32.com would do the trick. Regardless, I majorly agree with you. The Writers' Room is serious motivation and support. I'll be back amongst the scribes myself in short order.

@Trilby Hello and welcome. Hope your film "Rolling Pin" rocks and rolls in Japan. Costumes are fascinating. I recently did a lot of study into 1940's USA clothes to give tailors in UK patterns to copy but I'm not in costume department myself.
