I'm highly chuffed to be attached as director to US feature: "Reclaiming Estanislao" - a great project with an environmental theme & purpose. Writer/Exec Producer Sue Knaup is the wonderful driving force behind the film, and Eric Michael Kochner from WMM is Producer. We're looking to shoot Spring next year (2023). It's all fizzing along nicely, and we are (aren't we all) looking for finance. It's an environmental project, and we're looking to use any proceeds to fund the actual drive to reclaim the Estanislao River, so it's really financing as donation rather than investment.
Writer and exec Sue has conceived a work of astounding depth and breadth. The story had me hooked from the outset, and with every passing reading and discussion, I get dragged deeper and deeper into it and the bind tightens! While ostensibly a tale of restoring the sweeping majesty of an awe-inspiring piece of natural beauty, Reclaiming Estanislao unfolds a human story; a moving narrative of love and determination, greed and despair, and ultimately of resilience and hope
