Hi Stage 32 Community - I just finished writing my first tv show pilot and I'm ready to start pitching it. I am in need of a graphic designer that can help me bring my pitch deck to life. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Hi Alexandra Gorbea Lopez I believe I might be able to help you with the graphic design part if you're interested, feel free to message me and we can talk further!
@Kacee Diehl It's not that I need one, but my editor recommended as the visuals themselves can help tell a story and just make it more visually appealing
I love that you are taking the business of selling your script seriously! That's exactly what you need to do, ensure all your materials are polished and ready to be seen. In case you want to give it a go on your own you can check out the How to Design and Build a Professional Pitch Deck Without Any Technical Skills webinar. I know not everyone wants to or can afford to hire someone. https://www.stage32.com/webinars/How-to-Design-and-Build-a-Professional-...
I would keep writing pilot scripts/feature scripts before you start pitching or putting in work to make to pitch deck (because those take a lot of time). Say whoever you’re pitching to says “I like this script, what else do you have?” Then you’re outta luck because you only have one thing to show.
I would honestly have a feature script and two pilots before pitching anything seriously.

Alexandra Gorbea Lopez Out of curiosity why do you think you need a graphic designer for your deck?

Alexandra Gorbea Lopez, are you having someone else create your deck, or are you creating your own deck?

I made my movie poster image on canva.com for free. And then I put the pitch deck together on powerpoint.
