Equally influenced by MAD Magazine and Sesame Street, Wendy’s journey into screenwriting began in University. Having secured internships at NBC and PBS as a student, she continued her passion for writing for television and screenwriting while balancing full-time work and a family. She writes comedy, drama and delved into her first horror earlier this year (which received a SF award in the 28th Annual Fade in Awards). Her scripts have placed in both the Quarter Finals with her most recent TV Pilot placing as a Semi-Finalist in the 2024 Emerging Comedy Screenplay Competition. Her focus remains committed to growing as a writer and she recently completed a screenwriting mentorship program where she looks forward to leveraging her newfound knowledge to create compelling screenplays.
