Wanted: Cohost(Screenwriter/Script Doctor) for upcoming Screenwriting Podcast.
Do you want to talk about movies and where some go terribly wrong?
Lets talk. Currently in the brainstorming and pre-project reconnaissance phase.
Hoping to find someone in LA (preferably but thats not a dealbreaker) in the same boat as me, starting to transfer from normal 9-5 to submitting original scripts/wanting to show script ‘fixing’ abilities to full-time freelance screenwriter. Someone who is full-time/near full-time screenwriter or script doctor could be to busy.
If this interests you, lets start discussing, comment or message me. : )

Hi, Nikki Baker. You can also post this in the Job Section (https://www.stage32.com/find-jobs). Hope you find a cohost.

Hi, Nikki! Hit me up, it sounds like an interesting premise. I've done a little podcasting in my time (nothing important), but no one ran from the earphones screaming about my voice. So I think I'm okay. Hit me up!
You're welcome, Nikki Baker.

Hi Nikki, can I make a suggestion based on previous podcasting experience. There is a thing called “pod fade”. It hits around episode 6. If you get over 10 you are okay. You’ll go for a while.
So when you get to 6, reflect.
Also make sure the format is easy to keep up. This is why so many podcasts morph into interview shows. You run out of new things to talk about.
Scriptnotes is weekly and they quite often review work 3 page challenge or have a topic. It is hard even for big time writers to have something new each week.
Draft-Zero is a monthly craft based podcast.
Good luck

I had “Making Business and Sales work” 125 episodes. I was a regular on the “Bunker Project” out of Canada as well as “Craft Beer Nation” and many others in the early days of podcasting.
It can be a huge market. But mainstream media is crowding things. It is hard to get heard.
