Here are the BIFA awards results

Charlotte Wells’ film ‘Aftersun’ was the big winner at this year’s British Independent Film Awards. Link to trailer in the comments.

“Charlotte Wells’ directorial debut feature Aftersun was the big winner of the 2022 British Independent Film Awards (Bifas), taking seven prizes, at the ceremony which took place tonight (December 4) in London.”

For me, it’s encouraging to see a debut feature director, win the big prize and take the accolades. There is hope.

Me too. I hope it has a wide release.

Maurice Vaughan

AFTERSUN looks incredible, Geoff Hall!!! I'm not sure what it was -- the story, the characters, the scenes, the music -- but the trailer is inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

Maria Restivo Glassner

I hear that was a must see! Gotta put it on my list.

Geoff Hall

thank you, Maurice Vaughan Yes, I was still none-the-wiser to the story, but the trailer was fantastic.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Geoff Hall. I like trailers that don't give away too much of the story. As long as a trailer interests me enough to watch the movie, I'm fine.
