I've just signed another right-to-shop agreement, which will make six deals I've closed this year. I found out this evening my horror story Purgatory Station will begin production in mid-January. I have a second feature scheduled to begin production in the spring of next year. I also placed and won at 45 film festivals and script contests. Finally, I rewrote several old screenplays and crafted four new ones. So 2022 has been a very productive year.
My advice for 2023 is if you're not writing, you should be looking to connect with people seeking content. If you don't have an agent or manager learn to relentlessly promote yourself.
