Hey everyone,
So, I’ve introduced myself a couple times in the Introduce yourself weekends and thus you probably know me by now. For those who don’t, hello! It’s nice to meet you all.
I had an idea to change up my introduce yourself weekend post and try something fun. What better way to learn about others than to learn what interests them. Thus, I propose the Introduce Yourself Weekend Top 100 Movies List.
The rules are simple. I will start off with a movie that I think is number 1. The next person then decides whether they think their movie deserves that spot or is lower. Then the next person decides where their movie will place and so on. Once 100 movies have been listed we will see the results.
It will be something like this:
1. Movie 1
2. Movie 2
3. …
You can copy and paste the list as it grows to make it easier. Please only participate once and add only one movie to the list. I want everyone to have a chance to place their movie in the rankings.
I will start off the list with what I believe is the number 1 movie of all time (if you can find me a movie that tops this one then I’ll watch it and see for myself haha).

Looks like I need to watch Casablanca. Jed Power you rate it higher than The Godfather. If so I am definitely intrigued.
I am hoping we can reach 100 some time in the future. Keep the movie suggestions coming and grow the list everyone who hasn't commented yet. I'm excited to see the direction this list goes in.

Marcos Fizzotti a Clint Eastwood fan I see! I will definitely take a look at these movies. Care to share what you love about them?

Hello Marvin Younathin. Okay, here it goes! In "Space Cowboys", I love how humorously they treat aging, especially because I'm surely getting there. Kinds of cheers me up. "In the line of fire" flows smoothly with intelligence and clever dialogues, to a strong climax. I also like the the fact it's mostly filmed in open spaces. And, being a huge fan of movies, Cinema Paradiso says it all. Nostalgia in controlled doses doesn't hurt anybody.

The movie Snow Angels. This is the only film that made a big emotional impact on me.

Marcos Fizzotti that's very interesting indeed. I like movies that deal with situations and issues of aging. I believe there aren't many movies that touch on this topic. I am really interested to check it out.

Marvin Younathin, I was impressed by how boldly, honestly and accurately the character of a believer was shown. There are many such people. who do not want to take responsibility for themselves, but blame someone else. and it doesn't even matter if this person is religious or not.
