Hey everyone! I'm Steve and I've been working in video production since 1993 in many roles from camera to editor, graphics to motion graphics and producing. After wrapping up a 3 year contract doing educational videos for the Dept. of Defense, I find myself at a crossroads not sure if I want to stay with the corporate/promotional video path and venture back to my original love of fictional storytelling. I've been at Stage 32 for years but never truly explored it and its resources. I'm hoping to find a community of creatives to help me spark my imagination again and bring stories to life (especially in the New York area)!

Welcome Steve! Nice to meet you. Glad you're here.
Great to meet you, Steve Guglielmo. What fiction did you write? Features? TV? Books? Short stories?

Short stories mostly. Haven't found that idea to make into a short film or feature yet.

Welcome Steve to the community! We are excited to have you in the community.
Some ideas are better as short stories, Steve. What genres do you write?

Hi Steve Guglielmo! Ever thought about combining what you love with what you're doing? The movie 'Stripes' was made working with the Dep. of Defense (as you probably know). And military-centric projects have really wide appeal. If you have a story set in that world, you might be able to use your connections to get it produced. Would highly recommend looking at our pitch classes if you go this route because it'll help you get the right materials together to sell. There's one starting today (that you can watch on demand) that's specifically for TV --> https://www.stage32.com/classes/The-Ultimate-TV-Pitch-Class-January-2023?affid=ejlounge
And if you already have something written and are looking for the right exec to speak with, shoot an email to success@stage32.com and tell them what you're working on and what your goals are
Hi Steve, nice to meet you! Be sure to check out the different lounges to meet people in all areas. Are you thinking about focusing on writing, producing, directing? Or just getting your feet wet again?
