The good news is that they're easier to create than you may think - I just made one 20 pages long to promote my romantic comedy script "Stand Tall!", and it didn't cost me a cent. The most important facet is that your pitch deck adequately conveys the tone of what the project is all about; a rom-com pitch deck should look, and feel, considerably different than one made for a thriller or horror film. While I don't claim to be an expert on the topic, I know enough to show you the ropes of the process. Drop me a line, give me the gist of your project (genre, logline/synopsis, "dream" cast), and I'll provide suggestions (and also send you a copy of the "Stand Tall!" pitch deck I'm sending to potential producers). Best wishes to my fellow screenwriters!

Is there a deck template you would recommend?

I didn't use a template, since I'm a former copy editor with quite a bit of design experience, so I employed Google Docs. Try this YouTube video, which leads you to something you can download: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NURUDTRo_Ck

Above is the cover for my "Stand Tall!" pitch deck (I actually have two versions, in purple and red). I can forward you a copy; simply email me at vjp081955@gmail.com

Vincent, I tried sending you an email but it bounced... Did you change it? Thanks.
