Hello all, my day job is a creative director for our animation studio BIEN. My night job right now, however, is an EP on a short documentary that our studio is producing with a self-imposed deadline of September. Look forward to learn from the community.

Hi Hung! Welcome to the Stage 32 community!
You should definitely check out our Producing and Animation Lounges where you can join discussions with other producers or animation-focused creators, pose questions that you may have, update the community about your projects, and share news/announcements that interest you. It's a great way to connect with people from all around the world!
You can find both lounges through the toolbar at the top of your browser window. Simply click on "Lounge", which will direct you to a new page listing all of the current lounges available to you.

Maurice Vaughan A creative director is like a director but for commercial animation projects. A director typically works on one project from start to finish. A creative director works on high-level creative and strategy of multiple projects and have dedicated art directors to lead each.

Maurice - Stop-motion is a very specialized field for experts. We do general 2d, 3d, and cel animation.

Maurice Vaughan cel animation is frame-by-frame animation in the same way traditional Disney animation was made on celluloid sheets but nowadays we make it with Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, TV Paint

Hung Le Welcome! It’s great to see you here on Stage32’s IYW.
I looked up celluloid sheets, Hung Le. I remember seeing those growing up! I used to draw before I started writing, mainly cartoons. I passed the Art Instruction Schools' test (the drawing test with the Tippy the Turtle, The Pirate, and Tiny the Mouse drawings), but I ended up not taking the course.
