Loved this webinar!! It was nice to hear firsthand, from an active production company with a finger on the pulse, about how female characters have shifted over time. I enjoy watching, and writing, female characters in the action landscape, and this illuminated a lot! Thank you, Aimee

Aimee Rivera Thanks for the great webinar. QUESTION: Can I give my female protagonist a sense of humor and still keep her strong? Any tips on how to do this?

Does anyone know how to get the nine screenplays that come with the webinar? I cannot find any download links.

Just coming over here after seeing today's webinar. I'm pretty psyched about a screenplay that we're finishing up another revision on.

I love the way art houses and independent films create their female characters which are deliberately more true to how people really are or can be than Big Blockbuster films. I feel they are more vulnerable authentic female characters for instance let us not forget - Hilary Swank won her first Oscar for her role in Boys Don't Cry, Charlize Theron won her Oscar for the film Monster, and Frances McDormand won twice for playing an authentic vulnerable character Fargo and more recently in Nomadland! Great Webinar from Aimee! Excited for her next one!
