Martha Caprarotta is a screenwriter and published author who writes Hallmark-style romances, four-quadrant action adventures, and faith friendly features. Her Christmas rom-com THE TWELVE DISHES OF CHRISTMAS EVE was a finalist in Emerging Screenwriters' Family and Holiday Competition and a semi-finalist for Emerging Screenwriters Genres Competition. She is also writing an historical drama feature adaptation of her middle-grade book FIRE AND FORGIVENESS, the true story of a nun and her brave schoolgirls who were caught in the midst of the Civil War burning of Columbia, SC.
Martha is a former producer and writer of live and recorded local TV specials, and former local TV news producer, writer, reporter, videographer, and editor. Her awards include a local Emmy, a NATPE International Iris Award, and Alfred L. duPont-Columbia University Awards citation. She is also a former technical editor for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. She can neither confirm nor deny if she encountered any little green aliens there.
