Hello! Greenie screenwriter here but in love with the writing process since I began a year ago. I went to film school eons ago, then..well, life, and now, 15 years later I have started writing films and tv pilots. I am looking to connect with people on this same path! And really, people who share the magnificent and relentless vision of bringing their stories to life. I just finished my second feature film and a tv pilot so I am working diligently on written pitches (of which I have never written before!). It has been quite the unfolding and I am excited about what is next. Happy to be here, can't wait to meet everyone!

Julie Conner Hi Julie, great to see you here in the Stage32 community. what kind of stories do you like to write? Are there any common themes?
A friend who knows my work, told me that the common theme in all my projects is that of control. It was, I admit, something I hadn't paid much attention to, but when she said it, I was like "yeah! You're right."
Anyway, welcome and thanks for taking the brave step of posting in the lounge.

Robin Gregory I love the way you framed that. It is true that I am really writing from those 15 years of life! Genre, what a good question. I guess I would say Drama is the main genre, but there are supernatural and thriller elements in the features as well. My tv pilot is a series for pre-teens, also a drama with supernatural elements. Clearly I am learning how to "categorize" my work! Thanks for asking and for the encouragement!

Geoff Hall That is a great question. I like writing about how people grapple with life's darkness. If we see above after I wrote that I was like, oh interesting, I guess there is a common theme! Supernatural drama?! Is that a genre?? I guess it is now hehe. Thanks for the welcome!
