Great to be back on Stage 32 after an extended break to clear my desk. Glad to say that's done and I'm taking some time to get some stuff done around the house, I want to get back in shape again, and I'm starting a new business. Other than that, while my agent and producer get busy shopping my scripts and setting up deals, I'm looking to what's next. I've started an animation feature with my kids and hope to set up a small animation studio at home so we can produce our own stuff. I also have several features in various stages of completion that I'd like to tackle. Would love to hear what everyone else is up to and how the writing is going.

Hey Emma McBean, great to meet a screenwriter from the land down under. I've sent you a network request. I like the supernatural horror, or dark comedy space, but over the last few years, I've been writing a lot of action thrillers. It's not something I planned, but my career has kinda gravitated that way. How about you? What's in your wheelhouse and what are you working on currently?

Hey Maurice Vaughan. Nice to be in touch with you again. My kids are all quite talented writers, artists, musicians, photographers, and one of them is really interested in animation and directing, so I'm involving them in everything and overseeing things. I feel like we have the skills as a family to pull off a project, and it would be great for them to learn all aspects of the value chain, including the business side. Currently we're busy with story development and concept art. Congrats on the writing work.
