LGBTQ+ Content

I have a 12-Episode paranormal rom-dramedy series featuring two aging women who fall in love and create an extended family of quirky folks. Anyone out there working on LGBTQ+ material? What has your experience been trying to place it?

Craig D Griffiths

I have a protagonist that is trying to restart a relationship with her ex-girl friend while in the middle of a huge drug dealer. I haven’t sold it yet. I believe I will. But her sexuality was never mentioned. It was that it was bleak. Her girlfriend Sue, is the one thing that makes her human and through conversations with Sue we learn her dreams and aspirations.

Craig, love the premise of your screenplay. Intrigued by "the one thing that makes her human." Hope someone snaps it up. Thanks for sharing.

Kenneth Adrian Ellis

"Inclusions" (however we may word it) like this are definitely happening and occuring; two LGBTQIA examples in the latest Thor. One of females (a kiss). Another example of boyfriend males. (i.e. A Marvel Movie)

Doug Nelson

Yes - haven't finished it or tried to market it yet.

Liliana Angela Angeleri

I'm not interested

James Mulcahy

I'm interested in LGBT material that adds a supernatural element. What you're working on sounds like it might benefit from exploring some of the darker themes of the paranormal.

Thank you Kenneth, Doug, and James for your input. This series is an adaptation from a cozy-mystery series I've published, so it doesn't lend itself to the "dark side" of the paranormal. But, interesting thought.
