Any ideas on how to Fund a Short that I wrote in a town where Creative Film Production seems as if it is not even tried here? Youngstown OH. Home of the Warner Brothers. We need to bring creativity back to this place and put people to work.

Start with the premise and whom might be interested in participating (film funds, grants, special interest organizations, etc.) Of course, crowd funding, individual investors, friends and family, etc.

Hi @DL! As a fellow Ohioan, I love the passion and desire to bring creativity everywhere and not just Hollywood! I would recommend checking out some of our classes that we have on this topic for funding and you can always shoot our education team an email if you're looking for guidance/direction at edu@stage32.com

Work extra jobs, save $, piecemeal production (meaning shoot weekends), use Credit cards. Thats the path many choose to fund their own shorts. Money will make ppl show up on time and work.

True that Dan MaxXx. As an avid fan of Movies and TV as well; one thing that I found to resonate is to use OPM in any High Risk Venture. What I really want and need is a Producer who knows the three rules. Always get the Money. Always remember to get the Money. And Never forget to always remember to get the Money. thank you for your ideas though. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
