I'll go first - I watched KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON ***spoiler alert**** and I love the scene at the end when Leonardo DiCaprio is talking with his wife and fighting with his feelings on poisoning her. I couldn't believe the range of emotions he let run through his face in that moment, and the way he delivered his lines still haunts me.

Leo was definitely in top form, as usual. I loved Killers of the Flower Moon. I thought everyone in Saltburn was excellent too, particularly Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan. So much nuance in each performance, and it all does so much to humanize very "out-there" characters.

Not too recent but I just watched SAINT MAUD (2019). The lead actress, Morfydd Clark, was fantastic. Very unnerving film. Great job across the board really. First time director Rose Glass knocked it out of the park.

I know there's some controversy around the actual event, but I was really inspired by Annette Bening in NYAD. She's always terrific but it was a marvelous performance and elevated a "sports movie" to something deeply personal and made me feel endless possibility, which is a great feeling after watching a film.

Saw "The Creator" recently and thought the young actress who played Alphie, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, was outstanding and has a great future in film.

Mia Goth in PEARL. She's both captivating and terrifying with her performance.

I agree on The Holdovers - I would include all of the cast, they were all great to watch. I also just watched a new movie based on Monk (and never watched the series) Mr. Monk's Last Case - Tony Schalhoub, Hector Elizondo and more are all great. Now I wanna go watch the series!

@amanda It's on my list. :) As someone who watches movies and shows more than once if I like them, I am never concerned about spoiler alerts.

Glenn Howerton's performance in BLACKBERRY was a standout for me.

I just recently watched All The Light We Cannot See on Netflix and I thought that Aria Mia Loberti's performance was incredible! She was truly captivating. In a cast with heavy-hitters like Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo, she was the obvious standout.

“The Morning show” on Apple TV season one. Not a movie but such a strong performance. A scene with Jennifer Aniston talking with her daughter about getting divorced with the husband, the father of the daughter. Her performance in that scene was so real and liberating, and validating of what it is like for a parent getting divorced from a spouse with young adult children.

Can add Dev Patel in Monkey Man to this list. He goes all out with his performance
