Introduce Yourself : Hello by Sara Curran

Hello

Hi Everyone, I haven't been on Stage 32 for a while. Life and novel writing got in the way. I am still trying to perfect writing a good TV pilot script and have loaded two fantasy ones on Stage 32. Out of Time is based on my paranormal experiences that I talk about on my YouTube channel. Dead Sun is the second one. It's a Young Adult story about a girl who travels into the future and finds the sun dead, London has moved underground and everyone is supernatural. Does anyone know a good online screenwriting course or where I can find a mentor? Looking forward to connecting with you all. Thanks. Have a great day or evening!

Hello Sara Curran and welcome back to Stage 32. I am a moderator here and I want to let you know that there have been recent changes including many education courses and film school certification. If you are looking for an online screenwriting course I recommend checking out the Education tab, there are Next level webinars available for purchase on every topic. For looking for a mentor, I would suggest checking out the screenwriting lounge and may be even joining the writers' room.

I love paranormal and sci fi looking forward to hearing more about your projects. Where are you located? You can also go to the meetups tab and see if there is already one near or start one in your city to connect in person with other creatives.

Welcome back, Sara Curran. Your projects sound exciting, especially "Dead Sun"! I second recommend Stage 32's Education and the Screenwriting Lounge and Writers' Room to find a mentor. You can also connect with experienced screenwriters who might be interested in mentoring by searching the Browse Members Section: www.stage32.com/people?name=&location=&roles=Screenwriter

You have an intriguing premise. I'm curious how the "dead sun" will play out. I'm a science fiction fan, so I'm imagining a very cold, very dark Earth, and hoping the sun is not a black hole, lol. Good luck!

Sara Curran

Thank you so much everyone. Lovely to connect with you all as well. I will try it all out. I am still very much a noise at script writing so it will be great to have some direction and support. Thanks again. :)
