L. Tom Deaver

Someone is thinking ahead and catching cinema themes for the aging Boomers. Good fortune to all who enter.

Rutger Oosterhoff

I'm still not quite sure what "Grown Up Movies" are. Is there a precise definition?

L. Tom Deaver

There are comps for the contest to give you ideas.

Emily J

So excited to see the scripts that come in for this one!!

Sam Sokolow

This is a great genre - so many films like this in the works and stars who want to be in them. Excited for this contest!

Geoff Hall

Ashley Renee Smith It did catch my eye, Ashley, because, well, I thought I had a grown-up script, but the examples of Book Club and Old Dads means this is probably a mis-match for my script.

Sam Sokolow

When I was a kid, one of my favorite movies with the original GOIN' IN STYLE with George Burns, Lee Starssberg and Art Carney. A tour de force for those amazing actors. It's awesome to see films in this genre continuing to excel.

Francisco Castro

Is this for features and pilots?

Maurice Vaughan

Both, Francisco Castro. It says "Open to Feature Films and TV Pilot Scripts!" (www.stage32.com/happy-writers/contests/2nd-Annual-Grown-Up-Movies-Screen...)

Francisco Castro

Thank you, Maurice Vaughan.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Francisco Castro.

Francisco Castro

Did the contest change its submission policies cuz it only says "Open To Feature Film Scripts" now? There's no "TV Pilot Scripts" anymore.

Very excited to be a finalist for this as well! My script is EXILED TO LEISURE VILLAGE and it's based on that time when I had to move in with my elderly (yet much more energetic than me) mom in a senior citizen community. Congrats to all the finalists!

Ashley Renee Smith

Congratulations, Candace and Kelly!!
