Turning my historical fiction novels into a TV series:: Daisy in a Gun Barrel: Peace & Freedom, Love & War, Rock & Roll the 1960s (on Amazon, B&n) and the sequel 1970s Aftermath: Where Have All the Flowers Gone? I am not a screen/play writer so I'm not sure where to start. Suggestions?

Welcome to the community, Penelope Fox. Here's a webinar I think you'll find helpful: "How to Adapt a Book Into a Film or Series" www.stage32.com/webinars/How-to-Adapt-a-Novel-Into-a-Film-or-Series

Penelope Fox do you want to write the screenplay or are you thinking of hiring/collaborating with someone?

Thanks for the comments. I'd rather collaborate with a screenwriter who can relate to the 1960s.

You're welcome, Penelope Fox. Ok, this blog should be helpful then: "How to Adapt a Novel into a Screenplay: The Author + Screenwriter Collaboration" www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-adapt-a-novel-into-a-screenplay-the-author-s...
You could post an ad for a screenwriter in the Job Section (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).

Thanks, Richard "RB" Botto. When I read Penelope Fox's comment ("I'd rather collaborate with a screenwriter who can relate to the 1960s"), I thought, "Stage 32 has a blog for that."

Thanks for this, Penelope. I've published a number of novels as well, including ones in the historical fiction genre, and am interested in opportunities for TV series.

@Penelope Sounds very interesting. I’m into 40s/50’s/60’s/70’s so will check out your novels when got spare time. Have you thought of going Transmedia? Novelettes, comic, poetry etc.
