Let me ask you a question: did you ever feel you've had enough? Like there's no more reason or energy to keep going?
If you're are like me or pretty much anyone I know, the answer is Yes - at least, once in a lifetime.
And yet, we persevere. We choose to move forward, explore, continue - to eventually, see things improve ever so slightly.
The two characters in my short film, EFFERVESCENCE, unfortunately chose another solution. We follow them on their last journey in this world, to the effervescence at the end of the tunnel.
I wrote this film because the topic of life and death is personal to me. With this narrative, I want to bring awareness to depression and mental health struggles to help more people choose life.

That's a worthy and interesting premise, Olga Gabris. Also curious as to how the subject is treated. All the best with this project!

Thank you, Leonardo - we're planning to film this on a commuter train, and adjust the background and lighting in post-prod. So far, the feedback has been positive and I'm glad that more people open up to the subject instead of keeping their doubts and fears to themselves.
Agreed, Olga Gabris . Please keep us updated!
