Anything Goes : "Breaking From Illusions" by Nastaran Nouri

"Breaking From Illusions"

I was raised with the teaching of separation, a concept passed on to me through family, religion, school, and society. This illusion, this false belief, led me to mistrust myself, others, and the universe, leaving me to grow up in a state of confusion. The profound impact of separation extends to our ability to trust. In today's modern society, this gap of separation continues to widen, causing individuals to feel anxious and bewildered. They are confused because they can't hear their own voice, the compass within, and instead rely on others—whether it's their government, so-called "awakened" figures, or simply following the so-called "stars."

This brings forth another fundamental problem—we have forgotten that we are here to create. We have the freedom to give back through our unique creations. This uniqueness springs from the idea that originated within us, through our distinctive voice.

Have you found your voice? Not the one that stops you, not the one that gives you guilt and shame, not the one that likes to gossip, judge, or condemn. The voice that navigates through the highest vibration in the universe, the one that is certain because it knows there is nothing to be afraid of, the one that says no to fear and doubt. The most powerful sources of energy, love, and oneness. We are all born with this energy of love, and no one's is more unique than the other. Peel off your beliefs, your past, what you think you know, and start brand new. This allows your mind to heal; it empties your mind and allows it to be filled up with what is true and important—love energy. From that place, you will be whole and complete, authentic, and you will find your voice, and thus you will find your purpose and be able to create. Remember, that's what we are here for.

Interesting, Nastaran Nouri - I'm trying to understand what is meant by "separation". Separation from other people?

Nastaran Nouri

Thanks for reading Leonardo Ramirez Yes, separation from other people. It's as if my life is more important than yours. I'll do anything to get what I need. I believe I'm different from you because of the religion I practice or my status, which ultimately leads to a sense of separation and disconnection from the source energy.

Leonardo Ramirez

Nastaran Nouri I agree with the premise of it but I do believe that sometimes people separate themselves so that they can heal from traumatic events in their life. It's not always selfish. I don't think that people (for the most part) separate themselves because of their beliefs. Yes, some can be due to selfishness and self-preservation while others need to heal for a short time before they can come back to the outside world.

I understand the concept of needing to undergo a period of separation for healing after experiencing trauma,Leonardo Ramirez which can manifest as isolation – a behavior and decision influenced by trauma. This separation can be short-term, long-term, or even prolonged, making reconnecting with others challenging. However, I want to emphasize a distinction between this kind of separation, which is a response to trauma, and the concept of separation as a core value.

As an example, I want to clarify that I hold respect for all religions and individual beliefs. Growing up in the Islamic faith, teachings instilled a perception that men should not be trusted unless they are your husband, and it cultivated a belief that everyone has an agenda. This upbringing led to years of confusion, impacting my relationships with men, women, and friends, and eventually, I reached a point where I felt a sense of hatred towards humanity. Subsequently, I underwent a prolonged period of healing.

The religious environment significantly shaped my perspective on humanity, rooted in fear and promoting separation. For instance, on my first day of school, I was taught that America is our enemy, illustrating the depth of these influences. However, I acknowledge that these perspectives are based on my religious experience.

In modern society, separation takes on different forms and wears various masks, with movements and labels assigned to different groups instead of recognizing everyone as a human with a soul, transcending gender. I believe that understanding our interdependence for a bigger purpose in life is crucial. This is a vast topic, and I could delve into it further. I hope this clarifies my perspective.

It certainly does, Nastaran Nouri. Thank you so much for sharing your heart with such transparency. I LOVE this kind of beautiful dialogue that can open up about things without a fear of either not being heard, misunderstood or even offended. I am sorry that you went through. I went through a different kind of realization but like yours, it stemmed from a misinterpretation of what love really is and seeing things through a foggy lens. You, my friend, are brave and real. And I agree - we were not meant to be apart.

Nastaran Nouri

Thank you for your heartfelt words Leonardo Ramirez they mean a great deal to me. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you've faced as well. The journey of humanity on this Earth has indeed been marked by numerous challenges. I always remind myself that we are part of the bigger picture, akin to being rays of the sun with the sun as the source. This analogy is both profound and inspiring, serving as a powerful reminder to stay grounded and focused on our emotions and goals, even during the toughest moments. I also love discussions on these topics; they are so engaging and enlightening.
