Thanks, ya'll! This is a pretty cool network. Maurice Vaughan, yeah. I've written several. Those are definitely my genres and I personally believe that they go hand in hand. Particularly Black Comedies and "all or nothing" type adventures. Like Back To The Future with a Fight Club attitude. It's really fun. Stephen Folker, I just finished this awesome movie that took me forever to complete. I'm entering it in The Academy Nicholl Fellowship. I have much faith in it. Now I've shifted over to this other story that I've been wanting to develop for a while now.
You're welcome, Shawn Coleman. Cool. I tried to write Black Comedies, but I can't get the hang of that genre. Adventures are fun to write. BACK TO THE FUTURE with a FIGHT CLUB attitude. I'd watch that! My favorite Sci-Fi/Comedy is MEN IN BLACK. What's your favorite Sci-Fi/Comedy?
Maurice Vaughan, Ah, shit! Men In Black rules! I think I just write adventures that organically come out funny and Sci-fi. I couldn't be serious to save my life. My favorite would have to be Back To The Future definitely and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure! What kind of stories do you write?
I mainly write Horror, Shawn Coleman. I mix it with other genres sometimes, like Comedy. Thanks. I get most of my jobs on Stage 32 by building relationships/networking.
That's awesome, Maurice Vaughan! If you have an amazing script that would make an amazing movie, how would you go about getting it made? A manager? A competition? What's the first step?
You're welcome, Shawn Coleman. After posting my script in the Logline Section of my profile, I'd either query producers/directors/etc., look for script leads (in Stage 32's Job Section, on Twitter/X, etc.), or enter a script contest. Or I'd do all three at the same time.

I write sci-fi/fantasy, specifically epic sci-fi/fantasy. The story I wrote is called "Sojourn: What Dreams Await."

I'd post the script in the Logline Section of my profile first, Shawn Coleman. Producers, directors, etc. search profiles for projects.
