Hi everyone, a while back I shared a Logline + first draft of the 'Get in' screenplay here on Stage 32.
I'm really happy to announce that also a while ago I asked actor Mark Ryan (Transformers, Black Sails, The Prestige) to play protagonist Richard and he happily said 'yes'.
We're currently working on getting the whole thing funded (looking good so far).
It's been a while since I've done anything like this and I could not be happier for the process we're now in with this little odd film :)
Here's the IMDb Page of the short film: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30887859/reference/
Cheers,
Jaap

Congratulations! Get In sounds scary! (And for some reason, conjured up the memory of the Twilight Zone movie..."Want to see something really scary?" LOL) Cue CCR...

Thanks, Sallie Olson. It is somewhat scary, but you caneither take the story literally, or as a metaphor. The choice is for the viewer :)

Hey guys, in this forum, I'm gonna make an ask of you all - We're pushing hard to raise finishing funds for the doc film The Baristas vs The Billionaire, about the battle between Billionaire Howard Schultz and SB workers who demand SB Corp come to the bargaining table for better wages, etc. But Schultz and Starbucks refuses. Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Mark Mori. The film has been financed out of grants and personal funds. To help complete post-production of the film, Mori has launched a Kickstarter (crowd funding) campaign at http://kck.st/3uL5Qh9. The Kickstarter campaign is fiscally sponsored by From the Heart Productions, a 501(c)3 entity, so contributions are tax deductible. It reveals Big News about Starbucks Corp Union-Busting against Starbucks workers. Thanks for your support!
