Our sci-fi script has received two Recommends from WeScreenplay and Friday night we received the Double Recommend from Stage 32. We started the script in 1999. We reconnected 1.5 years ago and have been rewriting SAFARI and also finished an animated series pilot and deck for which we found producers at Elevate Entertainment. They have sent it out to buyers. We're waiting for feedback.

Me too! But we are also very realistic. From when I initially submitted the materials, word on the street is that the sci-fi animation market is saturated and too competitive. It's literally in their company mandates: no sci-fi animation series. I am hoping to secure meetings with the project and to try and get traction on other material.

I've heard of writers doing that, Tom Firestone. Getting meetings to pitch their other projects or get hired on projects. Hope the meetings go great once you and Martin get them!
