Your Stage : "Riverhood" by Travis O Harrison

"Riverhood"

Well, good lord, when things start rolling, they start moving quickly. In the last 72 hours, after three years of set-up work, "Riverhood" has taken some huge steps forward. Along with signing Layla Musselwhite, daughter of Grammy award winning Blues legend Charlie Musselwhite, one of Jon Batiste's family, Damon, is coming onboard in an executive position to coordinate our efforts with the local schools. He has extensive experience is establishing education programs in Africa, as well as those in New Orleans. Could not be more exctied to have him with us. His families musical identity aside, he's a man who sees a vision and gets it done. Lastly, we're partnering with a national children's art/literacy program called Abrakadoodle as part of a national joint publicity campaign. We start shooting in August and I still have not one damn clue what I'm doing.
