About Travis

I've always written even though my life wasn't in the entertainment industry. My home was high volume bars, late nights sipping scotch after we closed, early mornings blending our stoned asses into traffic going to home to bed. It was a Vampire's life, but fuck, wouldn't have changed it for the world.

In 2014 the bill came due for my lifestyle. Stage 4 cancer in my throat that had spread throughout my body was the diagnoses on January 11th of that year. Not going to lie, that's a really fucked up moment. It started a year of brutal treatment protocols and surgeries. Being told the only chance I had to survive might kill me on its own. Those are really fun options to consider. Do I do nothing and live out my next year or so under palliative care until I die? Or do I undergo 8 months of having the living shit kicked out of me on the .03 chance I might beat it. If I don't, I die the same death I would have without the brutal assault on my mind and body. I chose to fight and I beat the odds. I'm still cancer free and living my best life. I made the choice I was not going to let it win. After the first three days of bemoaning my fate, I said "Fuck it." I'm going to put on a smile no matter they throw at me. I am going to laugh my way through this whole thing. I didn't actually succeed at the laughing all the way, but I did stay really positive through most of it. And the experience simplified my life. It was as much a gift as a curse.

It clarified how simple everything really is. It's all a gift. Whether by divine intention or some random cosmic event, it's all we have. Let's work together to make it something wonderful, or at least try! I don't care about your politics. I don't care about the color of your skin. I don't care who you choose to love. Are you a good soul? That's all that matters. To quote my friend Allyn Ball, "There's only cool and uncool. Be cool, everybody."

“Untitled” - the story’s in the public domaine Budget: $30M+ | Action Adventure This is a story everyone knows. It’s been told many times, but never close to told properly. Until now. I’m actually going to tell it two different ways at the same time and both will be accurate. One will be shot entirely in German, shot in the depths of the Norse woods, subtitled for the western audience. Ideally, Arnold Schwarzenegger will play the tribal Elder. The appeal being an action adventure shot in his native tongue for the American audience, playing a character uniquely fit to him at his present age and physique. The second version is an animated tale for children, softened to a younger audience. It’ll utilize the same actor’s voices only in English with German accents.Beowulf!
