SYNOPSIS:

My father found himself at the center of the biggest cultural exchange ever orchestrated between Russia and the United States when he was a radiologist in Jackson, Mississippi in the 1990s. Vladimir Putin was deputy mayor of St. Petersburg at the time. I was privy to have front row seats as is evolved over a two year period, as well as have my father’s personal history of the event. When it was unveiled, more than 750k people would marvel walking through the recreation of nine palace rooms, Morgan Freeman lending his voice to the audio narration, John Grisham writing of its wonder. The world was made small for one brief moment. Peace through art.
