Hey, everyone!
A few people asked me how I was producing my own screenplays with help from A.I...... (Edit for clarification: In other words, I'm taking the screenplays that I've written over the years, and turning them into into "short films" (videos, really), then uploading them to my YouTube channels/animation website.) I told them how I did it, and I also asked them if they would be interested in watching a video of how I do it, and they said yes. So, I wanted to let you know that I'll be making a video series very soon, specifically geared towards screenwriters..
I am not an A.I. expert by any means, but I did take a class in how to use A.I. to produce short marketing videos last summer, and since then, I've been teaching myself how to use different A.I. tools to essentially " be my own producer." (So far, I've only done this with my short screenplays, but my hope is that soon, I'll be good enough at this to do it with my feature length screenplays.) .
You can use these techniques and AI tools to do many things, such as: making a trailer to pitch your screenplay to producers....turning your screenplays into videos and uploading them to your own personal YouTube channel....submitting them to film festivals (and if there aren't any film festivals that take films that were produced with AI or with assistance from AI,, I might start my own... lol.)
My video series will be free, and I'll be showing my computer screen so you can see how I actually use the A.I. tools. All I ask in return is, is that if you do watch them, please subscribe to my YouTube channel. (Because if I can get to 1000 subscribers, I can start getting ad revenue...Whoo hoo!)
For my first video series, I'll be consolidating all my tiny, one-minute episodes of "Spring Break: Earth" into one longer video (about 20-25 minutes long). This way, you can see how I created those animations using an A.I. art generator and a video editor. I'll also be adding "lip sync" so their mouths will move. (I didn't know how to do that last summer, so in the web-series, none of my characters mouths moved...it was more like a "talking comic book" than a movie. Lol!)
I hope to get the first video in the series done in about a week, but if there is anything specific you want me to include in the video, just let me know. Here's a little trailer I put together today for the video series. (It's not animated, but I did use A.I to create the image.)

You are putting out a free video series for screenwriters who want to use A.I!! Brilliant and right on time!

The 1000 subs is the relatively easy bit, it's the 4000 hours of viewing to get monetised that takes time. I'll be watching though.

Subscribed! I'm taking a class on how to use AI for pitch decks, I'm curious about how we can use it for a trailer.

Very cool Niki. Can't wait...
What do you mean by “produce your screenplay”?
Mike, sorry for the confusion. I mean produce your own screenplay that you wrote, and turning it into a "video" or a "short," or a "film" or "animation" or "movie" (whatever you want to call it)....with the help of A.I. (I'd definitely start with some short screenplays, though.)
I turned one of my short screenplays (which I wrote back in 2011) into an animated web-series with the help of A.I. (.I write all my own screenplays myself...I don't use AI to write them for me.) I used an AI art generator to create the background art and characters and important "props.". Then, I imported them into a video editor and animated it myself. I hired real voice actors (and I also used a few AI voices, and some family members, too)...,put in theme music, put in sound effects, and put in some special effects.
For another short screenplay I wrote, I made it into a radio-play, and I just used a couple of AI voices in that one, but the rest were real voice actors.
But you can produce whatever you want with it...trailers....short films...web-series....podcasts....radio-plays...etc... . What you do with it is up to you. :) AI is very versatile, so it can. help you with any type of project you want.
