Happy introduce yourself weekend everyone! I’d love to know who your favorite TV character is and why.
I’m Amanda, the Managing Director of Stage 32. I’ve been proud to oversee this community for over 12 years! When I’m not in the day-to-day with Stage 32 I produce films and television. A recent short film we did with Stage 32er Pat Semler - EXIT INTERVIEW - is now completed and screening this week! A TV show I’ve produced is at a mini major studio and we are out for casting.

Happy IYW, Amanda Toney! My favorite TV character is Michael Scott from "The Office." He's hilarious, fun, awkward, responsible (sometimes), childish (a lot), loyal, adventurous, and unpredictable. He's like the fun dad of the office.
Congratulations on "Exit Interview" being completed and screening this week! Can't wait to see it!

Happy IYW Amanda Toney and Sunday :)) My favorite is Villanelle -Killing Eve-performed by Jodie Comer! She is a professional assassin who enjoys killing in such inventive ways that you become fixated on her unique methods of killing. It's a character with no normal emotions, but when she meets Eve, her life turns upside down. Jodie Comer did an outstanding performance, and I believe she will go on to become one of the best actresses we have today. Killing Eve is now available on Netflix, and it is by far my favorite television show. It is extremely well-written and produced. Good luck to your new "babies"!

Hello again Amanda! I love this question. I encourage everyone to join the discussion. I'll start. This requires some real thought. (LOL) I would say, Detective Olivia Benson. L&O:SVU has been on for 24 years, so I have been able to see how this character has evolved over the decades. I love watching old episodes and seeing how different that character is from 2000 to present. It's the only show where you can actually see the growth of a character just like we do in real life. What an amazing opportunity for an actor. Benson going from trying to find her footing, dealing with her own demons, to becoming a role model, to running the squad. The material is so well written and gives Mariska Hargitay a lot to work with. I would love to guest star on that show. That would be a dream come true!

The Lincoln lawyer, and the reason is because he seems to come out on top, figuring out different things. Also, my second favorite character is Hondo on swat and the reason for him is he always knows how to take command

Oh man, favorite TV character is a TOUGH question, Amanda Toney . But as a Texan, I feel it's my duty to vote for Coach Taylor from "Friday Night Lights."

Without a doubt, Mr. Walter Hartwell White from "Breaking Bad."
An arc that transports him from milquetoast chemistry teacher to major drug kingpin while afflicted with Stage IV Cancer.

More than one:
- Walter White, a.k.a Heisenberg from Breaking Bad: The definition of a masterful character development. To see him transform into that anti-hero he is now known for is a heartbreaking journey, but a fascinating one none-the-less.
- Frank Castle, A.K.A. The Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal in Daredevil and the series of the same name on Netflix, now Disney+). Bernthal was tailor-made for this role, period. What an anti-hero should be like. Probably my favorite incarnation of the character, I won't lie. Flawed, violent, but human. The most human we've seen Frank Castle thus far. Looking forward to see how he will be used in Daredevil: Born Again.
- Tony Soprano: You should hate his guts, and rightfully so, but you can't deny James Gandolfini's charismatic and impulsive approach to playing a mob boss/head of the family.

Amanda Toney congratulations, Amanda On those successes. I can’t wait to see the TV show on a screen in my living room! Keep us posted on how things develop, please.
My favourite Character? Fox Mulder, a man who had his beliefs questioned, proven and then denied in almost the same breath and yet still held on to them, makes him a very appealing character to me.

Geoff Hall Can't forget about Mulder and Scully. Doggett and Reyes were underrated characters in my opinion too, although not quite to the same level of the former.

Hi Amanda, nice to meet you!
I have a never ending list of favorite characters, but recently, I met one that I felt was a terrific: Amos Burton from The Expanse. I can't explain why, but his arc, his persona, I really like that character. There's also Nick Stahl's Ben Hawkins from Carnivale, so sad such a great show left us so soon.
I'll stop myself from writing more now, because my head goes on overdrive thinking about the hundreds of characters I love! hehehe

Probably Leonard from The Big Bang Theory. The series could totally be read as a last sane man trope with him in the middle…
