Greetings! I'm Greg and have been making documentary films for a few years and am excited about finding my way to Stage 32! I did filmmaking at NYU Film and NYFA and am looking for wonderful homes for my "babies" (3 full-length, feature, fictional screenplays) as my crew and I complete our latest Doc film. Inspired by so much talent and energy on this platform :)

Hi Greg Rabidoux , welcome! I love the work you've done regarding the stolen babies in Spain. Congratulations on all the awards! I read a piece in the NY Times about Catholic homes for single, pregnant women during the reign of fascism. Nuns would deliver the babies, tell the moms they were stillborn, and then sell the babies to wealthy patrons. In her elder years, the mastermind, a nun, died before she could be brought to justice.

Hi Sam, our most recent Doc film in festivals is about a group of adults who were all stolen and sold as babies and thru fate met and befriended each other and are on a search to discover their true biological origin (Letters to the Pope: One Man's Quest for the Truth) we are shooting footage now for a future Doc on campus protests. What's new with you?

Hey Robin, yes, and actually an even more nefarious doctor in this criminal network of baby stealing and selling did go on trial in a Madrid Criminal Court, and we got inside access and that footage is in our award-winning film (Stolen Babies of Spain 2019). It was just astonishing and incredibly sad.

Robin, the Stolen Babies of Spain Doc is on Amazon prime, Tubi, and ROKU at the moment. The follow-up is our next Doc in festivals now which is Letters to the Pope which then centers on babies all stolen and sold out of the same clinic in Valencia who then met as adults, became close friends and now seek to have the Vatican open up archives that would reveal their real biological origins!

Oh my gosh, Greg Rabidoux , that is super exciting. I'll watch it on Amazon Prime. As for Letters to the Pope, wow, I'm really curious to see if Pope Francis will continue his efforts of reformation concerning this shameful history. Well done!

Pat, about the widespread stealing and selling of babies which started in Spain just after the Spanish Civil War (1939) up to the 1990s, though I am still contacted by people with claims of being violated this way as parents in Spain and other areas like Slovakia. Newest is about life for Jews and Palestinians now in America.

Geoff, became aware of the story through family in Spain and the issue was just starting to percolate and grow but still in many areas "unspoken" and we first did over 300 interviews across Spain prior to beginning filming. It has won festivals like L.A. Indie FF, NYC, Hollywood, Tokyo Indie FF, and Berlin. A story that needs to be told as a new generation of Franco descendant deniers tries to quash the truth.
