Set in the early 1990s, an awkward high schooler who fantasizes about becoming a female guitarist comes across an item that predicts the future. When she realizes that she must make drastic changes in her present life to change the course of her future, she must fight against her natural tendencies or risk the fear winning out.

The synopsis is great. A coming-of-age story set in the world or rock music. In my opinion, there's not enough of those.

Super excited to see this come to pass Wendy!! Great intuitive work here... What's meant for you will NEVER PASS you by. Wishing you the BEST in all endeavors as you keep moving easily through this process of eternal creating for self & the masses. THIS KIND OF MESSAGE (in your film) IS GREATLY NEEDED AT THIS TIME of evolution (not that it doesn't hurt ANY STAGE of evolution! LOL)
BUT we are are "knowing" WE, the world at large, are at a major pivotal point in TIME; where messages of "REMEMBERING" is monumental for the world to help provide the "needed" continuation of FORWARD energetic movement, promoting healthier ways of existing in this world of FORM, (though the veil is surely thinning quick!).
FACING OUR FEARS IS A GRAND WAY of activating THIS... SO THANK YOU from me and all those looking for that more peaceful way to LIVE, more TRUE to our NATURE.

AGREE JACK HILKEWICH. THAT would be a grander WAY of keeping the meaning of the film calling it "SHIMMER" representing inclusiveness of THESE experiences of challenge we ALL FACE/SHARE while on the Earth.
